Ryan Richmond has dreamed about going to space since the age of seven. Reading space updates—and seeing pictures of Neil Armstrong on the lunar surface in National Geographic—was the ignition of this dream.

At nineteen he sold his first company and employed the remnants of the Russian Space Program, three of the best space brains in the world. In his twenties he founded and sold two more companies and hired the most outstanding scientists and engineers from the European Space Authority. During his thirties, after selling his third company, he invested heavily in Internet start-ups, like Google, netting billions. Then he patiently waited until NASA’s shuttle program came to an end and contracted the best brains in the U.S. Space program.

Now, Ryan Richmond is in his fifties, has angered, fought with, and shot at many of the World’s most powerful countries from Space, and is not welcome in the Northern Hemisphere.

Ryan doesn't really care, as he is millions of miles away, enjoying himself flying around the solar system, and about to return to Planet Earth.

Series Plot Development: Very Good
Novel Plot Development: Very Good
Copy Editing: Good
Detail: Good

Mr. Wade has completed yet another book in this series that is easy to read and very engaging. Ryan and the crew of America One travel from Mars to Jupiter, Saturn, back to Mars, and finally to Earth in this story. Along the way they discover the origins of the ruins found on the asteroid they used as a bus. This just creates more mystery and questions than before. Solving most of the mystery takes up most of the book. Upon their return to Earth, they find it in a state of cold war on the planet and active warfare in space.

Having lost most of his blind faith in the good nature of people, Ryan proceeds to stomp on the warring governments. Hard! He also stomps on a bank that has confiscated all his money. WOOT! Needless to say, there is a great deal more involved in the book than I just laid out. It is well worth the read and I highly recommend the series and this book to anyone who likes sci-fi.

AMERICA ONE Return To Earth Book 4 eBook T I WADE Reviews

If you enjoy Star Trek Next Gen and the original Tom Clancy Dr Ryan series, you will love TIWade's America One books. I just finish his forth book, "Return to Earth". The series deals with what could happen away from our current politics, world governments, greed and paranoia. Just think of what we would do with out distractions. Then you come back to this world and a short time in the future. What would you see and do? I hope there will be another book soon. PS future reader, you NEED to read these books in order.
Ok. I'll admit that I have already brought this on Smashwords because I could not wait for slow to get it up. The series is fast and enjoyable plus it often tweak's our own hopes for the chance to travel, explore, make new discoveries without the overload of bureaucratic idiocy that sometimes happens.

I don't need to recap what this series is about - just read the other reviews, but if you have ever admired people like Richard Branson, Burt Rutan, and Paul Allen then this series is definitely for you.
Enjoy

I will post this as for the ENTIRE series!
I could NOT put this series down! As soon as I finished one, I bought the next!
The story follows one man's dream of achieving one man's dream of going into space, traveling to Mars and beyond.
He encounters corrupt government, military and a society hell bent on destroying his team.
Great action, lots of characters you can relate to and grow on you.
Wonderful series!!
Overall I did enjoy this book as it shows all kinds of things that are possible if we just reached for them. Not really going to happen anytime soon unfortunately with the current political environment.

The only nitpick I had was the excessive harping on how bad earth is and its current political landscape. Got the tone from the book that it was just a lost cause and not worth working towards improving it.

Yes, we have issues as a country (US) and as a species but do I think it is as bad as it is made out to be int he book? Not really. I can easily accept some of that, it just got really tiring and started to distract from the actual story.
This was a transitional book in the series. It set us up for amazing directions that T. I. Wade is taking us. And best of all, I can not figure out where he is going. I just know it is going to be a great ride. He may even take this story across generations. The writing seems to be solid, even if the descriptions are somewhat hurried. I really do wish T. I. Wade would give us handicapped people some drawings of his spaceships, aliens, weapons, etc. this would help a lot of us to keep focused. I still loved the books, all of them. And, I can't wait for the next one. He has me hooked
I've enjoyed the series and have found each book captivating and hard to put down. These are much more than "just" a sci-fi series, for example, politics plays a huge role. As someone else mentioned, the price is getting too high for an eBook. I do find myself wishing that an editor had spent some time going over these manuscripts before they published. It seems to me these books have not been proofread - the simple grammar errors are at times very distracting and tend to suddenly take you out of the story back to reality - I find that annoying. There are also some glaring technical errors and false statements that could have easily been corrected without any negative impact to the story - again these small errors tend to pull you out of the story back to reality (the far side of the moon never receives sunlight?) - another annoyance. All that said, I am enjoying the series and look forward to the next (proofread and fact-checked?) installment!
I enjoyed it to volume 3, but now I'm done. This series is fun through book three, but it really falls apart after that. If you have any kind of background in Physics, chemistry, or economics, and you're of a libertarian bent, expect to enjoy the start of the series. But by volume four it all falls apart into 1920's style mysticism and populism. If the things like "air bubbles" in a vacuum, spontaneous gravity fluctuations, generally horrible physics, Kreskin style "powers of the mind", and "eating meat makes us violent" don't bug you - by all means, continue the series. Books 1-3 are quite good, except for some editing issues. Volume 4? Ugh...
